In a significant effort to strengthen civil-military cooperation and enhance administrative capabilities, 161 Maharashtra State Service Officers from Pune completed a week-long military-oriented training program at Aundh Military Station. This rigorous training took place from June 4th to June 10th, 2025, and aimed to promote collaboration, skill development, and a strategic mindset among key administrative leaders.
According to a post from the Southern Command, the diverse group of officers, comprising Deputy Collectors, Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs), Block Development Officers (BDOs), and Education Officers, participated in an intensive curriculum designed to instil military-grade leadership, sharpen crisis response skills, and improve inter-agency coordination. The training was carefully crafted to equip these officials with the resilience and strategic thinking needed to operate effectively in high-pressure, real-world situations.
